Best phone card to call home from Europe?

I will be in Greece for 6 weeks and was interested in getting a cheap
international calling card to call back home. Has anyone found a
reliable card with cheap rates?

Just buy a local one when you get there. They are very widely available in
wherever tourists gather, from souvenir shops, newsagents, hotels etc. Ask
the staff which one is cheapest for using in public phones, and has recorded
instruction in English (usually mentioned on the card).

well as someone said you can buy a phonecard in greece, which will be
the cheapest option but also not as convient for obivous reasons. Esp
say you are arriving at 2am for example and the last thing you want to
do is look for a shop that is open, understand english, etc just to
make a phonecall home to say you arrive safety.

assuming you are living in UK, than you can buy a Post Office holiday
phonecard which is quite cheap for quick "short" calls to call home to
say everything is fine, etc. until you can get one of the local
calling cards. I can get you one of those.

but if say you live in America than I am sure AT&T or whoever will
have something similar.

But I have to say these type of calling cards I see as just to use
initally, cause they are cheap (and convient) but not that cheap for
long calls.
