Are there any moderators on this site? Certain offensive things should
surely have been removed by now.

This site works well, with contributors giving valuable advice as most,
if not all of us, have personal experience in African countries. It is
certainly a different matter on the soc.culture.kenya NG, although many
posts there are posted to several groups.

Caroline,

Most of the contributors to rec.travel.africa are sensible people with
valid opinions/advice. Occasionally we get a fool or idiot, but we
tend to ignore them, and they fade away. This NG is pretty much a
self-regulated forum as far as I am aware.

I've been a subscriber to this NG for about 8 years, and I've seen
very little abuse (relative toi the abuse I've seen on many other
NGs.).
