Default Showering on the Road

I'm going to be trekking through Europe...my question is this. If
accomodations are not available, what are my options as far as clean
up goes? In the U.S., while on the road, you can always stop off at a
Truck Stop for a cheap or free shower. I've heard certain campgrounds
may let you in to use the facilities for a nominal charge. Any
experiences with this? I'm looking for a listing, for all of Europe,
of any facilities like these. Thanks.
