game observations

Thought I would have seen some by now. Guess I'll sacrifice my pride
and make an attempt.
ST - still much improved over a month ago. I hold my breath less on
every punt/kickoff.
Defense - yes, this was the Bills, but for the second game, allowed no
TDs. DBs still worry me. Short crossing patterns still worry me. But I
will not fight with success. Good job against Lynch.
Bess - good to see him step up. I like the way he tries to go
north/south. Doesn't seem to hunt for the sidelines the way Ginn does.
Wilford - actually caught 2(?). Very short time left to show he is
worth the money.
And to show my prejudice,
Jets lost.
Cowboys lost.
Life is good.

Could someone please translate this into English for me.
It's sports announcer play-by-play. I used to know when I was on the
Univ. of South Carolina FM-Radio WUSC-FM. But that was approximately 30
years ago. But what in dancing Chihuahuas does this have to do with
cruising. Probably just another sports announcer wannabe without a rudder.
