Your safari to kenya!
I am tour guide based in Kenya, I would like contribute to this forum,
I don't know if you mind for me to contribute, I have handled hundreds of visitors to Kenya and Tanzania and I think I will be of great help in regards to information especially about Kenya and Tanzania. I am not representing any company I just want to give information to people who needs it. Please let me know of any questions you may have on our region. Ben Muti |

Ben,
Thank you for the offer. I'm traveling to Kenya in March with Elderhostel. We will be visiting Ambroseli National Park, Swee****ers Game Reserve, Lake Elementaita, Maasai Mara Game Reserve and Nairobi. I'd love any tips you can provide, as this is my first trip to Africa. Specifically, what type of clothing do you recommend for March for this itinerary? Again, thanks for your willingness to contribute to this group. Paula Please let me know of any questions you may have on our region. Ben Muti |

Ben Muti Ben may answer Paula but as to clothing, the middle of March can be the onset of the long rains, so you may like to include a light rain mac. It is still fairly hot so cotton shorts, skirts, tee shirts, with long light trousers and long sleeved shirts or blouses for the evening. Amboseli is very dry and dusty when there isn`t any rain, so a hat or scarf is useful when on game drives. Pat -- Pat Anderson |

Rain gear. Extra pair of cheap shoes you can use for mud. And I am not being facetious. |
