We may have another option than the Tube.

We will be going from the Kensington Close Hotel, near High Street, to
the Thistle Euston Hotel, on Cardington Street.

We would like to be close to the Euston Station train that takes us to
the ferry to Dublin, so we are going to change hotels the night
before.

We have stayed at this hotel before and have gotten the number 27 bus
to go to Baker Street to catch the Big Red Bus. The bus stop is right
around the corner from the hotel.

Am I right that we can get the bus at the High Street Kensington train
station and get off at Hempstead Road?

It would be nicer to be able to see the sights along the way anyway.

The other concern is that the bus doesn't go through any bad
neighborhoods. I know where we would get off isn't the best, but it
will be day time and only a short walk.

Travelling in an open top bus reduces the blast.

Other possibilities are a tuk tuk, a rickshaw, a sedan chair or to catch
a
Ryanair flight to Dublin.

Cathy, the TFL journey planner I pointed you at previously answers all your
questions. It defaults to the quickest route (which is by tube) but scroll
down and you'll find ways of deselecting everything except buses. There
are then maps that answer all your questions but, in general, the answer to
all your questions is "YES".

There are no areas in London so bad that you cannot risk taking a bus
through them.
