My son just gave me an Emachine computer and my isp is Comcast. What is
the best way to access this group?

Because I hate MicroSofts Virus Magnet Outlook, I would sugguest he
download Thunderbird from Mozilla (free) and use it for both email and
usenet posting. The info for Outlook given by Comcast helps with
Thunderbird.

Not AOL :-) A better answer would be information on how best to read the group
once here. This group has more trolls than most others. You can set up a
"Killfile" as some swear by, or just get to know the trouble spots (they will
introduce themselves in short order) and skip over them like I do. I have not
been here all that long (such as veterans like Karen and others), but am glad
to see another member added to the constantly growing RTC population. Google
has a reader, which I just tried and feel it's okay, but I was not crazy about
the format...AOL *was* pretty good before it crapped out about a month ago.
There are a few here that are really smart with computers and will probably
point you towards the best way to access. Congratulations on the new toy and I
look forward to consuming your reads.
