Old passports
We got our renewals in the mail yesterday. My wife asked where are the
old ones. I said they were sent in with the renewal applications, and it looks like they are not returned. She expressed disappointment as she would have liked them for the stamps on them from foreign countries we visited in the last 10 years as a keepsake. (Me too) I don't suppose there is any way to get them back. At least, they return your birth certificate when you first apply. |

We renewed our passports during the big crunch when it took months to get them back. We got our old ones back with holes punched in them. Don't know why you didn't get yours back, maybe they will be in the mail later on?? sue |

I assumed everyone did. Like your wife, I wanted to save the old markings. I hope somebody can guide you to recovery, but I suspect it could be difficult. Harry Cooper |

We also got ours back a few days later. The surprising thing was it was sent from a different state than the passport renewal was sent to. Jeff |

Old passports
My wife finally got hers back. My old one came May 1. Hers came today,
Both were postmarked as sent from New Hampshire. Hers was postmarked April 29th. I suppose mine had the same postmark. I guess mine came by regular mail, and hers by Pony Express. lol |
