Default my mexican riviera cruise

Hi all...

Just a quick refresher. Our Mexico cruise was April 6, 2009, just before all
this Swine Flu talk took place. Is this really something to be concerned
about, or just more media hype and public panic. Time will tell. However,
since the cruise lines took such drastic measures to change itinerates, at
least in that sense they made it real. It's ironic, when we took our cruise,
the concern was about drugs and related murders happening in Mexico. Now the
focus in on the flu, but we're sure the other issue did not go away, just
not currently in the spotlight.

Start He On Board...

Continue He Catalina & Ensenada (Plus)...
http://www.tinplatedesign.com/Catali...ada/index.html

This was a 4-night cruise from Long Beach, right next to the Queen Mary. We
spent one whole day on Catalina Island and another in Ensenada, Mexico, plus
one full day at sea. In addition, after our cruise, we drove out to Palm
Desert to visit Deborah's aunt and uncle, stopping at the Morongo Casino,
Resort & Spa for the night on the way back.

Happy sailing...

jean i did think of that. we leave san pedro on 5/10, astoria, oregon on
5/12. 5/13 is victoria and 5/14 is seattle.
i put the bathing suits and shorts away and put in a few sweaters and
jackets and boots.
my son is quite upset as he and his family live in seattle. but he has
plans on both ends of the cruise in los angeles, and it wasn't feasible to
cancel. besides i wanted to see my grandchildren.

Ahhh, Kerry! ;-( Will we get to see you in Seattle or Victoria, I hope? We
arrive in Seattle the 9th of May and are staying at the Red Lion on 6th
St. that night. What days are you in Seattle and Victoria? Hope we can
hook up in one of these places at least..

Kerry,
I checked the itineraries and we do not dock at the same ports on any of the
days. ;-( You will be in LA when we leave Seattle on the 10th. Astoria is
a new port for me...not too much to do there is there?
Sorry your son is disappointed but being together as a family will make up
for it all and y'all will have a good time! Especially with seeing the
grandchildren.
Maybe our ships will pass in the night! ;-)
