Has your state been hit with tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, blizzards,
drought or monkey pox? To quote the deep philosopher, Emily Litella
"It's always somethin'" After the Loma Prieta quake in '89 (in which
we lost one cheap wine glass) - my parents' friends in Michigan
started asking "When is Mark moving back?" (the assumption being that
I would never stay in an area susceptible to quakes). My mother
promptly reminded them that when I was 10, a tornado hit our house in
Grand Rapids (...ironically, while my parents were buying furniture
downtown).
