Schengen
While travelling in Germany in 2000, we tried to get the train from Hamburg
to Denmark, at the time (and still?) not in the Schengen agreement. My friend, a Moroccan with a visa to study in Germany (he had been there for seven years already), was told by the train ticket collector on the train not to even bother trying to get a visa off the customs men who were bound to be boarding at the next station. I don't know of this little ditty helps you or not... Hope-It-Does. www.freewebs.com/travel-deals |

Denmark have signed the Schengen treaty and that's in force for Denmark and all the Nordic countries,(Norway Iceland having a separate agreement) from March 2001. My friend, a Moroccan with a visa to study in Germany (he had been there for seven years already), was told by the train ticket collector on the train not to even bother trying to get a visa off the customs men who were bound to be boarding at the next station. Was probably correct at that time. I don't know of this little ditty helps you or not... It helps that you are advised to know about the visa and immigration rules BEFORE going to a foreign country. |

I have been reading your posts the past few days and am wondering why you
changed your name from "homehelp" to "emailalias?" --Jean "emailalias" wrote in message news While travelling in Germany in 2000, we tried to get the train from Hamburg to Denmark, at the time (and still?) not in the Schengen agreement.
