Why are foreigners who have never set foot in the US obsessed with how much and how we spend and how we spend our bucks on our excellent health care?

US medical-profit system: obsessed with how much they can force us to spend, not so much with health care

You would think this other cretin could at least remember what he said for 5 minutes or so and post it. But, then, that's asking too much of a cretin. Now, boys. You got to squabbling among yourselves and forgot that the reason for the original post: lies. Lots of transparent cross- posted nonsensical lies, so some fool could infect the net with a meme about the awfulterriblescaryevilbaaaaadness of "socialized" medicine... Time to get back to stomping the disinfo. |

I should have known you wouldn't be intelligent enough to figure out what I meant. They are so. That is exactly what the law requires and your comment is, again, stupid. May I see a pointer to the law in question? Sure. Start here http://www.facs.org/ahp/views/emtala2.html If they can't refuse to treat you but you can't pay, how are they not obligated to do it for free. They can take you to court to force you to pay. Can't pay means can't pay whether they take you to court or not. Private companies and the government. Where does their money come from? You cut out something here so I have no idea what this refers to anymore. No France just lets thousands of elderly die in a heat wave because they are on vacation. Many died because of a lack of air conditioning. That's what causes heat exhaustion that you treat medically ace. So you cretin, all tests by definition are unnecessary so you don't bother to do any screening tests like for prostrate cancer then huh? Many screening tests actually do not reduce mortality or morbidity. Well, that's a great reason not to do those that do isn't it? I don't remember. If my relatives did not have a $3000 bill, your son's friend had no such drug. Why would I remember some dumb drug that Europe allows that no one would prescribe here? Because using it as a basis for your argument without even knowing its name essentially negates any useful effect of that argument. Bull****. There are all kinds of dangerous drugs that doctors know about that layman don't. Not knowing some drug brought in from overseas that fits that category according to a medical specialist doesn't negate anything. |

wrote: John Kulp writes: That's what indigent means ace. Indigent is simply a synonym for poor. You can be poor with assets. What it means is "lacking food, clothing, and other necessities of life because of poverty; needy; poor; impoverished." Which is the basis for getting care free, not some bull**** you make up. In any case, that's not important. Even if you have nothing, a hospital can still take you to court to try to force you to pay. They cannot. They are forbidden from doing that and would be stupid to do so in any case because they would collect nothing. |
