Default Three days in Burgundy. Sleep in Dijon or Beaune?

Dijon is on the direct line to our next stop Paris.

Beaune is supposed to be more quaint.

We may rent a car for a day to tour the region.

Thanks for your help.

Beaune is more pleasant and more central to visit the wineyards.
