30 March 2006

Passengers wishing to book a particular cabin on their favourite ship
- with the best value early-booking discount – should move fast, as
P&O Cruises unveils its preview brochure, detailing the majority of
cruises departing in 2007.

The preview brochure is also the first to display the new visual
identity for P&O Cruises, as it will feature the new P&O Cruises
‘rising sun’ logo as well as a new look cover and layout, which will
be carried through to subsequent cruise brochures.

Philip Price, head of brand marketing, P&O Cruises, said the preview
brochure is the company’s response to the trend for passengers,
particularly those who have cruised before, to book their cruise
holidays earlier.

“There is always huge anticipation around the annual release of our
cruise programme. Publishing a preview brochure means we can get the
new cruise itineraries to market earlier and at the same time reward
our frequent and past passengers with the best value, early booking
discounts.”

The preview brochure features detailed itinerary information and is
available from April 1, 2006, with cruises on-sale from April 4.

The main first edition brochure, which is available in June, will
contain more comprehensive information on facilities and activities
and an in-depth look at the varying onboard experiences. Main season
prices come into effect when this brochure is launched.

“We know past passengers require less product information as they are
familiar with our ships. They know which experience they are looking
for, on which ship they want to sail and will have a general idea of
where they want to go on their next cruise,” said Price.

The new brochure reveals innovative new itineraries, which are sought
out by past passengers looking to travel somewhere new, or to combine
destinations to which they’ve not travelled before.

All itineraries are designed to reflect the experience on board the
individual ships. For example destinations visited by Artemis are ‘off
the beaten track’, suiting an experienced cruise passenger, whereas
newcomer ship Oceana explores the ever-popular Mediterranean and
Caribbean seas.

There are seven new ports including Grand Turk in the Turks and Caicos
Islands, Savannah in the United States and Valencia in Spain, as well
as lesser-known ports in the increasingly fashionable Baltic region,
such as Vaasa in Finland and Klaipeda in Lithuania.

Itinerary innovations include:
· A 29-night American Adventure cruise on board Artemis, travelling to
Vigo in Spain, Orlando, (Florida) Savannah, (Georgia) Charleston,
(North Carolina) Baltimore, (Maryland) Norfolk, (Virginia) New York
City; Newport, (Rhode Island) Boston (Massachusetts) and Bar Harbour,
(Maine) in the United States, and Madeira, priced from £2,399** per
person.
· An 18-night Arctic Explorer cruise on board Artemis, travelling to
Ireland, Greenland and Lapland, priced from £1,799 per person.
· A 12-night Winter Wonderland Christmas Markets cruise to Amsterdam,
Oslo, Copenhagen (overnight), Gothenburg, Hamburg (overnight) and
Bruges, priced from £899 per person.
· A two-night Weekender party cruise on board Oceana, travelling to
Bruges in Belgium, priced from £189 per person.

Also featured are ever-popular ‘family choice’ cruises, departures
particularly suited to families wishing to travel in the school
holidays, giving parents the opportunity to book well in advance and
secure family cabins. Free or discounted supplementary beds are
available for additional adults and children on selected cruises,
subject to availability.

With 100 cruises visiting 162 ports in 56 countries, there is a cruise
to suit everyone on board one of P&O Cruises five ships, which between
them offer more cruise options than any other cruise line sailing from
the U.K.
