Default Radiance of the Seas E3 cabin balcony

I have cabin#7650 and from some of the reviews I have read it would appear
the the view from the balcony to the water may be obstructed as the
following paragraph indicates.

" This category balcony overlooks the cover over the lifeboat deck and you
cannot look directly down at the water. Nevertheless, a balcony is a must;
particularly on a Hawaiian or Caribbean cruise."

Since this is a Panama canal trip, how much of my view will be obstructed?

FWIW, I recently went through the Canal on "Legend of the Seas" with a
balcony cabin. I spent about 30 minutes on the balcony during the passage.
The rest of the time I stayed mainly on the Promenade Deck, which on the
"Legend" is low enough so that you are able to reach out and touch the
concrete walls of the locks. You also experience the "elevator" ride as the
ship rises/drops at a rate of about three feet/minute which is much less
noticeable from the upper decks. The Promenade Deck on the "Legend" also
wraps around the stern providing excellent views of the lock gates opening
and closing.

I did enjoy the balcony quite often at other times during the cruise.

Neil
