APARTMENT AVAILABILITY SCARCE, RENTAL FARES INCREASE

MIAMI,
With nearly 90 percent of The World’s original apartments already
purchased, rental rates to experience this luxurious, private
community at sea have been elevated and a conversion program is
underway that will result in fewer, but larger and more elegantly
accommodations.

According to James St. John III, the newly appointed President & CEO
of ResidenSea, Ltd., the management company for The World, the plan to
reconfigure 44 former studios into 19 one and two-bedroom studio
apartments is a direct reflection of the desires of current
resident-owners and the requirements of potential buyers and
vacationing guests.

“Our residents have made it clear that larger accommodations are,
quite simply, more desirable. Rental guests, citing longer stays in
port – which is a hallmark of The World – are also in search of larger
accommodations,” St. John said.

Rental guests now have three levels of accommodation to choose from
aboard The World: two and three-bedroom spacious private apartments
starting at $2,000 per night; the soon-to-be reconfigured one and
two-bedroom studio apartments starting at $1,500 per night and veranda
studios starting at $1060 per night. Rates depend on itinerary, are
based on double occupancy, require a six night minimum stay and
include onboard dining, select wines and beverages, onboard gratuities
and port charges.

The inventory conversion project, currently underway, is part of a
scheduled dry-dock renovation that will be completed by May 16, 2004,
when the rejuvenated ship makes way for Bordeaux.

The new total inventory aboard The World is 165 units including 106
private apartments and 19 one- and two-bedroom studio apartments and
40 veranda studios.

About The World:
The World The Ultimate Address: The World® is the only private
residential community at sea with a continuous worldwide itinerary.
This strikingly beautiful ship offers travelers the choice of owning a
home or renting a private residence for a unique vacation experience.
Elegant and intimate, The World promises gracious and personal service
in a warm, inviting ambiance much like that of a private yacht,
seaside villa or exclusive country club. For rental guests, stays are
booked at daily fares. For more information about The World's
residential purchase options, please call your travel professional.

The World is owned by its Residents. Headquartered in Miami, FL,
ResidenSea Ltd. is the independent management company responsible for
