6 hour layover in Kuala Lumpur

I have a 6 hour layover in KL, from 2 till 8 pm. Any suggestions what
to do? Is that enough time to be worth leaving the airport, without
stress? (Maybe to do some shopping for photo equipment?)

Six hours are sufficient to go to downtown KL, enjoy some food and the
sights, do some shopping. Either take a taxi to the Petronas towers (or
Chinatown if you prefer, although the Petronas towers would be better)
and spend four hours there. There is the great sight of the towers, a
big shopping complex, food stalls etc. Alternatively take a taxi to
Bukit Bintang road - several shopping complexes, cafes, food stalls etc.
and you can walk down to the Petronas towers.

Doohh! Yes! Thanks!

To travel from KLIA Airport to kuala lumpur town, takes 1 hour (about
70 KM) and the cost is about RM50 to 100. The nearest township is
Putrajaya, about 40 km and the cost by teksi is about RM30. There you
can see some of the new Govt. buildings, lakes and perhaps some
shopping at the Alamanda. That,s about all you can do as travelling
time would take up 2 over hours, two way.
