Wait with Australia
If you intended to travel to Australia: wait another 2 months.
Continuous drought and excessive temps (today 38˚C/100.4°F just inland north of Sydney) make travelling/sightseeing pretty unpleasant. And the forecast for February is for unusually high temperatures. In the meantime you can have a look at rent-a-cloud.com. Nature’s Video Ecards. Big big skies, suns in a hurry and crazy clouds all in motion over gorgeous landscapes. And lots of nature photos too. All FREE to send away. Come and look around - you’ll stay real long. Thankyou! |

See http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/ahead/temp.nsw.shtml A slightly higher than normal chance of higher temperatures for the northern part of NSW. Sydney has typically much hotter temperatures for the inland suburbs in summer than for the city, and there is little of tourist interest in those areas anyway. Anyhow cars have airconditioning nowadays, so do trains and most of our tourist accommodation. Regards David Bennetts |
