Travel Website has bad software bugs
Hello,
I dont want others to be burnt by this - there are bugs in Orbitz.com hotel booking site where if you search for a hotel using address (city, state) - you get a list of hotels with distance from city center. The link to their map also shows it where you would like it to be but once you book it; the reservation is at some other hotel (sometimes even a different state). Try this yourself: I searched for hotels in "Cumberland, OH" - I get a list of hotels back. The first hotel says it is 4.1 miles from Cumberland city center. Click on the link to the map - the location shows close to Cumberland. But note the hotel address when you click the hotel link - it is in Ripley, WV. I checked on the web and found others saying they ran into same problem. Needless to say that after 4 hours with unprofessional customer service reps I still havent gotten any refund. K0dk@niSS |
