Default Exit 33 on Washington Beltway

I'm going donw to DC next month, and I will be staying at the Hilton
Washington on Connecticut Ave. NW. The directions say that if you are
on 495 WEST, you get off at exit 33, but what if you are on 495 going
EAST? Is exit 33 one of those exits that can only be accessed from
one direction? It would be nice to know a month before I get on the
Beltway!

Exit 33 is the exit for Connecticut Ave, and, unless they've rebuilt the
interchange since I was there last (not impossible) you can use it from
either direction on 495.

On the other hand, you'll have the joy of driving a fair chunk of
Connecticut Ave through the city to get to your hotel. If you hit DuPont
Circle, you've gone too far :-)

I just looked at maps.google.com, and you can see the interchange pretty
clearly.

They haven't.

The hotel, too.

Exit 33 works in both directions. The key is to head inbound on Connecticut Avenue. The hotel is on your left about 6 blocks after you cross the historic bridge over Rock Creek. If you reach DuPont Circle, you have gone too far so loop around the circle and head back
about 3 blocks to the hotel, now on your right.
