Default Carnival Inspiration 3-28

I am sailing on the Inspiration out of Tampa on 3-28. I haven't been on
a cruise since I was a kid and would appreciate your feedback or
insight on these issues:

1. Food/Dining
2.excursions mainly fishing
3.casinos
4. nightlife
5. general atmosphere.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

My wife have been sailing with Carnival for about 7 years now... thats about
a cruise a year...

This what we've experienced:

Early dining great to see late shows...
Late dining great if coming from a Port of Call late or to see shows early.
If you want to change dinner arrangements, late or early, see the matre 'd
as soon as you get on board...
If you don't want whats on the menu, a great steak can always be ordered....
talk with your waiter and ask them their opinion..they always tell us whats
the popular meals on board. If there's a dinner club on board, do make
reservations. The extra money was well worth the fine food as well as the
service... our motto is we're on vacation lets enjoy and relax.

Casinos - save your money for Vegas... But enjoy bingo, slot and blackjack
tournaments...

Nightlife - probably better on the east coast than the west coast cruises,
but depends on you group your sailing with or meeting other people you would
like to have fun with.

General atmosphere - you get out of your cruise what you put in... what
happens on the cruise stays on the cruise... participation will bring great
memories. Pose for pictures, doesn't cost a thing unless you like them.
