Tom Delay is one of the biggest congressional crooks
in history. This is why he got involved in the Terri Schiavo

I'm not sure that Tom is actually a crook. Although there are a few
problems with a children's charity he started. I suspect that he is
simply a bit power mad. Happens to many politicians of all persuasions.
Some day his poor constituents will catch up with him and his tendency
to interfere with their lives.

What do you expect from a former exterminator?

I am fortunate to live in Illinois - both of our Senators are liberal Dems,
as is my Representative...and my Governor and Mayor and local Alderman...

If I were living in some pesthole like Tejas I'd probably consider killing
myself what with jerks like Delay around...

Now Now Now. Calm down. It's nothing to get all that upset about. The
Roach Hunter doesn't cause much trouble for the district he represents.
Aside from Delaying rail; transit for a decade.

I've survived living in districts represented by John Birch society
members in California & Ohio. I've survived being represented by Ron
Paul who isn't consistent enough to describe. And I've survived Sheila
Jackson Lee. Living near and working in the Roach Hunter's district
won't get to me.

We should remember Tom's earlier forays into the jungle of congressional
ethics. In 1998, he co-sponsored, with John Doolittle (R-CA) a bill
that would have permitted continued evasion of the election laws by
allowing unlimited and undisclosed funds to be used for "issue ads" in
campaigns. Ready for the punch line? It was called the DeLay-Dolittle
amendment.
