Car hire Malaga airport
"kate.tomlinson" wrote in message ... Hi Can anyone give any recommendations for car hire companies operating at Malaga airport. Spain has a pretty awful record of accidents and the culture just doesnt respect the car. They think absolutely nothing of bumping you and driving off. So, always buy out the excess insurance. Bear in mind many of the well known names do not inform you at the time of booking just how expensive this can be. Charges of 8 euros a day are common place and some are way more than that, at around 15. Personally I never book with these guys who hide their charges. Try http://www.recordrentacar.com/car_hi...ire_malaga.htm http://www.doyouspain.com/ both great prices. Record are ISO certified. |

Car hire Malaga airport
Following up to JP
They think absolutely nothing of bumping you and driving off. unless you get the accident claim form all written up and signed by both parties the car firm will probably just put it through your insurance. Last trip somebody bumped our car and the driver was good about it (we were there!) and I filled out a load of bumph but probably missed some particular hoop I should have jumped through, but it still went through our insurance, my inclination next time would be to shrug my shoulders and say its a hire car, forget it. -- Mike Reid Walk-eat-photos UK "http://www.fellwalk.co.uk" -- you can email us@ this site Walk-eat-photos Spain "http://www.fell-walker.co.uk" -- dontuse@ all, it's a spamtrap |
