Default Rome Airport - Cloakrooms

I will be travelling through Italy for a week on my way from the US to
India. I was hoping to leave most of my luggage in the Rome Airport
cloakrooms. But, then I heard that there are no cloakrooms in the Rome
Airport any more due to security concerns. Does anyone know?

Thanks

I assume you mean Fiumicino? Check their website- they certainly claim
to have left luggage.

At FCO it was closed days after 9/11 and reopened ~1yr later when they
added an X-ray machine.

Does anyone know?

Not 100% certain but I'd say it's still open (IME it was in '03, '04,
'05 '06) and as David said it is still listed on their website.

It's actually cheaper than the Train Stations, ~2yrs ago it was €3.5
per bag per day.

Easy to find; No matter what Terminal you arrive at just turn right in
the Arrival's Hall (after Customs) and walk, when you hit the end of
Terminal C it's right there. [xC]=[b]=[A]

This info is 2yrs old but there are also a couple of places (laundry &
cyper cafe) near the Termini train station that store luggage for €2
per day.
Let me know and I'll dig the addresses up if interested.
Regards, Walter
