Default How does Princess rate balcony cabins?

Hi Folks

I've noticed some deep discounts on the Dawn Princess
category BF balconies, but the odd thing is I can only
find FOUR category BF cabins and they are on the
Caribe deck. There appears to be cabins above and
these four cabins--no discotheques or show rooms...
Sizes all seem to be about the same. What's the
reasoning behind their grading system? Might I
assume that anyone booking a BF guarantee
early will most likely be upgraded?

Pete

lead in categories as a guarantee are the best bets for upgrades, but
anyone booking needs to be ready to take what they booked. A recent
cruise encounter with a multi platinum Princess guest confirmed what I
already knew, the best chance of an upgrade with Princess goes to the
first time cruiser.

But, how do they determine the cabin categories?? (I was booked with a
BF guarantee and did have a BA upgrade.) It almost seems the higher
decks midship are the premium cabins???

Yep even though the best ride is low and midships the highest categories
are high and midships. It is because people equate higher with better
(Penthouse apartments are on the top).
