Hotel stop at or near Heathrow?
We are arriving Heathrow at 0700 after about 27 hours travelling and are
unfortunately due to fly out again at 1540. Any suggestions re a nearby hotel or similar to sleep for several hours between flights? (PS I definitely can't change the flight schedules). Thanks, Andrew from Oz. |

Thanks, Andrew from Oz. http://www.londontoolkit.com/travel/..._day_rooms.htm The price says "Around £50", whatever that means. Is that p.p? Then there is the bus at 4 quid each way, plus the hassle of catching it, finding the stop, checking at the other end... Someone could do very well if they built a hostel at that place, and I mean actually within the airport! Nice and simple, for those that just want to put their feet up or have a shower. -- --- DFM - http://www.deepfriedmars.com --- -- |

The Hilton in Terminal 4 (the only hotel actually attached to the airport) rents out rooms for the daytime only. It's not particularly cheap, but given that you'll only have about five hours to get some rest, you probably don't want to spend much of that travelling to and from a hotel. Here are some useful tips on how to sleep at Heathrow and elsewhere free. http://www.sleepinginairports.net/eu...onheathrow.htm You got rich by not spending money? Didn't we all?
