No, I'm trying to make money from other things. I only mention them on
my site. If someone works for IBM and mentions it on his Web site, that
doesn't make his Web site commercial.

So when you advertise a tour around Paris for €300 euro, you don't
consider that a commercial attempt to make money?

No, I didn't. :-)

No. Thirteen or fourteen hours is a long time to go without a toilet,
especially since the average adult has to urinate every three hours or
so.

Or people who can't read "Toilettes"?

They can't read DAMES, MESSIEURS, FEMMES, HOMMES, etc.

Can't they figure out the pictograms? Or just look which gender comes
out of each door? Or read a basic French guide in the plane?

And anyway, you can tell which one it is as soon as you go in the door. Big
deal. You're not going to die, or have to carry a bell and shout "unclean"
after having peeked inside a oo to see which one it is.

What gives you that idea?

Show me a few examples.

Written examples no, of course. There are some tape recordings, and
phonetic transcriptions made by observers. There has been a lot of research
on many languages which don't have a written form.

Do you own research for more.

The reason he is low paid is probably because he is lazy. Count the
number of times a week he expects somebody else to do the work that
proves he is wrong rather than using google to check his facts before
posting. Paris is the biggest city in Europe is a classic.

I am beginning to think he really believes that people who can't read or
write can't be fluent in a language.

I am beginning to think he really believes the rubbish he posts, tell
me I am wrong.

I wish I could. :-(

It does if he advertises ThinkPads for sale and asks for a dollar at
the same time.

Have you thought of making the same request on Metro trains? Maybe
playing the accordion would help.

The organ grinder's monkey came to mind for some reason.
