Default How to buy open-return-date air ticket on-line ?

Return date is to be OPEN.
I am stuck on this one....shopping for ticket online.
Or I am supposed to just buy one-way ?

thanks

You could buy a 'standby voucher' from some place like airhitch.org... I
believe they are priced 'seasonally' so your return time frame may be
Three to Five months.

Don't try to buy an open-return ticket. Instead, buy a normal return ticket,
with the return date being the last date you might possibly want to come
back. Choose a ticket that has no restrictions/fees on changing the return
date (this will cost you a little more than a restricted ticket).

It is close to impossible to buy a ticket with a validity of more than one
year, though.

If you may be returning after one year, or you may not be returning at all,
a one-way could be the best idea (or, depending on comparative prices, just
buy a cheap restricted round-trip with the intention of never using the
return).
