Default I there a worse frequently flyer program signup than Evas?

I mean on their site not only is it a mess but they insist that you
enter your passport number. Call me old fashioned but I don't think
they need to know that in order to join a frequently flyer program.

Is there anybody who's successfully signed up using this rubbish?

They want passport # and ID # and they do unique checking on both.

Just how stupid is that?
