Time to stop flying?
Following up to Tim C.
only completely different to a highly trianed pianist, to the wider world, they are two things with no other things between them. And there is the crux. Anyone who doesn't really know the difference between a real quality piano and a casio 9V jobbie might just think they are the same. A great musician will sound great on even a crappy instrument. A crappy player will still sound crappy on a great instrument. But might sound half decent on a bad one. this is two different things, recognition and results of use. -- "Mike....."(not "Mike") remove clothing to email |

Following up to Tim C. Yes, except in my analogy I'm equating the concert pianist with someone who can actually fly a plane. So anyone other than a concert pianist cannot actually play a piano? no, concert pianists cannot fly aeroplanes. can pianists fly carboard pianos? duh! -- Tim C. |

It's purely the results I'm talking about. Apart from the relative "poorness" of the sound from a lesser instrument. I'm talking about technique. -- Tim C. |
