Default Boston B&B // Getting to NYC From Boston

1) please recommend some B&Bs that would be good for a 2-day visit, or 1 day
in Boston, 1 day doing fall foliage nearby and return to Boston

2) what travel options are available (train, bus, plane) to get to NYC??
Train is probably preferable.

Thank you.

Amtrak has trains from new york to boston. go to www.amtrak.com for
schedules and prices.
There are also greyhound busses (http://www.greyhound.com/), and 'chinese'
busses (http://www.staticleap.com/chinatownbus/ for several options) which
are much cheaper.

If you want to see fall foliage, why stay in Boston? Boston hotel rates
are some of the most expensive in the United States. Consider staying in
Maine or Vermont. You will need to rent a car too and having a rental
car in Boston will be nothing but a heartache, especially parking it.

Check out http://www.amtrak.com for information on traveling between
Boston and New York City via train.

Chinatown bus, $15 one way. Search for bus from boston to NYC. There
are a couple of bus companies that do this. Or you can just go to the
bus depot above south bay station and buy tickets. Bus leaves on the
hour.

Thank you.
