Tips for travel downunder

I have just come back after spending a long travelling around
Australia. My fav place was Noosa it is fantastic. One bit of advise
I would like to share ,if you are about to go downunder is to find
information about the places you plan to go to from a non tourism
source. Most towns in Australia have a local directory website
supported by local businesses. These websites are more interested in
locals that tourist but because of this the information provided is
more truthfull. The tourism websites do provide good information but
most of it is hype. I have listed a few that i found usefull

These are just a few but there are hundreds of them in most Aussie
towns. I found going to these websites save my a lot of work. Have a
great time if you are about to go. I hope i get to come back soon
