Default Smoking on Cruises

I didn't realize that about Indian casinos. We went by the Hard Rock
Casino in Ft. Lauderdale a couple of weeks ago and assumed it was
smoking.

But not all. The HR in Ft. Lauderdale (well okay technically
Hollywood) has smoking, or at least did when we wandered by in early
Feb. . There is a middle sized room that is not smoking, but only has
slots.

Hotel guests are charged for damages, including smoke smell, when it's

Smokers are not evil and disobey rules like you say. Some may, but I
suppose there are nonsmokers who disobey other rules, just as well.

Karen

Then I guess they lied to the WSJ and those quoted from non-smokihng
hotels were lying as well.

They lie to avoid the damages and because it's more convenient.

Actually, there were a number of places on the ship we were on last
summer. And even if there were only a few places, why shouldn't the
smokers follow the rules?

And I was referring to hotels. What would the excuse be then?

People will pay anything for their smoking addictions. Have you seen
the price of cigarettes lately? I can't imagine how people can afford
it anymore.

But, they do.

And complain they can't afford other necessities.

Could be. I know he's never met me. He wouldn't get a pleasant
reception if he were smoking, especially a cigar, where he shouldn't
be.

Actually I find cigars less offensive than cigarettes which tend to be
freebased (soaked in ammonia) to enhance addictiveness. Cigarettes, to
me, smell much more like burning garbage.

They're incapable of it because they're addicts. They have no higher mental
functions when it comes to servicing their addiction. You might as well
politely ask a rabid pig not to bite you.

You're right about that one. Addicts will do anything for their next fix -
especially tobacco addicts since they think anyone will notice a little
smoke not realizing how it affects others around them.

this topic has been done so many times before. hugely boring. and this
from an ex-smoker, lol.

No one forces you to read it. Anyway, it allows us smoke haters to agree on
how much we hat the stench of second hand smoke.
