Default Cathay Pacific refunds

First I must report that I live in California and on the 1st of April I
purchased a paper ticket on Cathay Pacific from Singapore to Colombo Sri
Lanka to be used on the 4th of April returning on the 17th of April.
To this date I cant get anyone to issue me a refund on my visa. They have
stopped flying there due to the war.
Somehow they tell me to call Singapore or HongKong but hey its expensive for
those calls since they put you on hold up to 30 minutes.
How do I get my refund. I did not go to Singapore as soon as it was
reported that CMB was a no fly zone for Cathay Pacific.
Please can someone help me. Does no good to call anyone here in the States.
Thanks so much

Was this a discount ticket? If it was, you have to go back to the
company that sold you the ticket for a refund.

Your only hope is to keep calling the ticket office in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles International Airport
Airport Phone 1(800) 233-2742

There must be a city ticket office somewhere in Los Angeles too.

Good luck. Geno

The best thing to do is to write in or fax in your request to Hong
Kong with a copy of your ticket, and your charge slip/receipt.
And next time, go through a travel agent who can get the refund faster
using their BSPLink system.
