Playa Del Carmen Budget

I'm trying to calculate a budget (Family of 5) for my trip to Playa
Del Carmen and would appreciate any help from people who have just
returned. We will be staying in the Barcelo Maya.

We would like to go to Xel-Ha, Tulum and Coba in one day if that's
possible. What would be the best way to do this, tour bus, rent a car,
taxi, and how much would any of these cost?

We also want to spend a day in Cozumel. How much does the ferry cost?
I'm also trying to find prices for parasailing, car and jet-ski
rentals while on the island.

Are there any deep sea fishing charters that leave from Playa Del
Carmen? If so what do they run?

Xel Ha should be a relaxing all event.

Tulum and Coba on another day.

I prefer renting a car for the week. When you consider the cost of a
taxi from the Cancun airport it becomes a no brainer.

Another half day side trip would be to one of the hotels at Puerto
Adventuras. The beach is much nicer than Playa del Carmen.

Also, consider Akumal (along with Yal Ku) for swimming and snorkeling.
