Updates on Laos
Anyone recently been back from Laos. How is the bus situation along Rt
13? Keep hearing different reports on safety in this area. Also wondering about Phonsavan. Alright to get to by bus or better to fly? Any info would be great. Also need to know about the festival at Wat Phou at the beginning of Feb. Will accomodation be avail in Champasak or Pakse around that time? Would it be worth visiting at that time or better to come back after the festival is over. I only have 3 weeks in Laos and want to see as much as i can in the limited time avail. Thanks...Kim
