Aussie on a UK Passport
Ok, I don't have a clue about this, so If anyone has done the same thing,
any info would be great! I am going over to the UK in May, and I will have both a UK and Aussie passport (I am a Austalian Citizen) What do I do? Do I travel on my Aussie passport to the UK, then use my UK one, or use the UK one when leaving Oz? or a combo of both? I just don't know. I heard that I need to use the Aussie one to leave OZ, and the Austie one when leaving the UK as back in Australia they will have no record of me leaving and there will be problems getting back in? Obviously I am a wealth of dis-information so I need help! Thanks for any info or advise! -- Rose Please remove 'no spam' from my email address to email me privately |

The UK doesn't care much, but in general the easiest rule of thumb is to use the passport of that country when dealing with its immigration officers. Makes life easy. On the other hand use the passport you'll be landing with when checking in for the flight; airline staff aren't concerned with how local immigration will regard you but rather than immigration at the far end. miguel -- Hundreds of travel photos from around the world: http://travel.u.nu/ |

Aussie on a UK Passport
I have the same passports. The go is that you use the Aussie passport to
leave Aus, The Pom passport to get into England, work here and get around Europe. The Pom passport to leave all Northern Hemisphere sites and then the Aus passport to get back int to Aus Quite easy actually |
