Default Mexican Riviera or Caribbean

I'm with you, Don. Since I also live on the West coast and time and money are
of the essence, I find cruising down to the Mexican Riviera works fine for me.
And, I've done the 4 nighters to Baja, as well. Sure, if I could, I would
consider a cruise on the Caribbean. Actually, we hope to do Alaska next...maybe
next year...not sure.

As for the Mexican Riviera, I've sailed there 4 times since 1988 and I've never
tired of it. First of all, I rarely do the same thing twice while in port and
of the ones I do visit again, it's because I enjoyed it so much the first time,
I want to do it again.

Right now if I had the chance to sail back to the Mex Riv I would jump at the
chance, even though I was there the last two Spring breaks. Just give me
another SHIP! That's what I cruise for the most.

You are right but we do live near LA and San Diego. We used to think that
we would never take the same cruise twice (been there and done that
syndrome). However we found that, for us, the ship is the thing, not the
ports.

Caribbean, the water is way cleaner, the ports are much better, etc. If you
lived on the west coast and could walk to the ship then probably Mexico, but
we wouldn't rush back to the Mexican Riviera.
