Recommendation for 35 people 'social event' in San Diego
I am bringing together to San Diego 35 business associates in
September 2007. I would like a fun evening event for them. I have considered a harbor cruise, but was looking for other alternatives. Anyone have a great suggestion for a venue in and around San Diego? |

Anyone have a great suggestion for a venue in and around San Diego? What would they consider "fun"? Trip to Tiajuana? How about an evening at the Wild Animal Park? |

We just did a dinner event at the Air/Space Museum in Balboa Park. The group was a bit bigger, at about 125, but they did a great job, and the catering was very good, for that type of event. OK, the wine needed to be kicked up a few notches, but I was not part of the planning committee. Hunt I've been to a dinner at the wild animal park. It was unique and different. Our group had taken over the whole park. The dinner was also catered. Arlene |

Good suggestion. May be too small a group for a big venue like that.

Again, great idea and I will look at whether it scales to 35 people.
Budget about $100 each. |

I don't know which venues you were referring to in this and your previous posting, Mark, because you didn't quote any of the original message, but if by some chance there isn't a venue at the Wild Animal Park that's suitable for 35 people, you might check at the main zoo, and also at Sea World. They might have a variety of reception rooms of different sizes available. But if the WAP is suitable, I think that would be a great place to hold an event! Patty |
