Default Fontenay Abbey visit

I would appreciate information from those who have been to the Abbey at
Fontenay, near Montbard in Burgundy. I expect to visit in about two weeks,
traveling by bicycle.

Is the road to the Abbey very steep?

Is the Abbey open on Sundays?

Whatr hours are the Abbey open for visiting at this time of year? (My
guidebooks do not agree with each other)

Can I explore on my own, or must I take an escourted tour? Are there
english-language tours?

Are there other things I should know or expect?

Thanks!
