To me, all advertising is spam whether it is legit or not. Far too much of
it on this group.

If somebody advertizes a good deal or offer (providing that it is not
sex,drugs,medicine Etc) that benefits other readers i personally do not see
a problem with that, perhaps others would share their views on this

One thing I dislike more than spam is reading general moans
about it, when the same writer could be productively
spending that time writing complaints to the appropriate
"abuse" email address at the spammer's ISPs.
