The one earlier this week on the computers on the Cunard ships was totally
fascinating, and while I could have dug it out, it's way better just to know
that if it's a post from Ray, it's pretty much a give it's going to be good
information.

Then have him drop the tagline.

If there were another ten or twenty agents posting information, and it was
as useful as Rays, then I would be the first to welcome them to the
newsgroup. I don't care if there is a signature line on the posts or not.

What if they are posting the same cut and past that Ray does?

Ray is a great asset to the group, and provides information most people
wouldn't see on their own. For all I care he can post a picture of business
card on each post.

He probably will and when he does, I don't want to hear anything about
the RTC Charter.

Thank you, Mike. I was just going to post pretty much what you just

I would be all over you for
answering our resident troll. I get "bitch slapped" when I make that
mistake.

I don't blame you for being ****ed, he ALWAYS targets you....I still cannot
figure it out and it goes on for endless. I would be RIPSHT. The very few times
he doesnt mention you (and his posts are only a couple of words and never more
than two sentences) he does say something so inane it is almost worth a
chuckle. In any event sorry....I do try hard at not being offensive...I just
try to stick to facts.

You mean you actually SAW this movie?

Buying The Cow [DVD] (2002)

For about 10 minutes until I changed it....not much else was on..lol

Ray is one of the few agents who posts to this group. I find his
posts helpful and informative. If he was sending pure advertisements
to the group I would agree with you. As it is, you're nitpicking.

I would guess Ray GoldenAd cares a lot or he wouldn't be doing it. He
has taken a lot of flack over the years for his advertising but he
persists so it must mean a lot of bucks for him to keep on loading the
rtc newsgroup.

I won't quibble about whether it's "often" or "sometimes".

That's why this was my FIRST complaint about him SPAMMING, on a
particular post in which there was NO information of any substance,
other than a post in which he could advertise his TRAVEL AGENCY.

Hi Everyone,

If you have missed any of my news' postings, they are
available on my web site.

Ray, your post strikes me as a thinly disguised SPAM for your
travel agency. RTC is VERY tolerant about the presence of travel
agents posting in the ng, but in your case, IMHO you have grossly
overstep your bounds.

The "in your case" was somewhat ambiguously stated on MY part.

I meant to say in THIS case of YOUR post -- meaning the particular
post of vacuous substance which I couldn't help but view it as a
"thinly disguised AD", which at least one reader corrected me by
saying it wasn't thinly disguised at all. :-)

I stand corrected on THAT count.
