Europe -> Japan (cheapest fare)
I am living in Finland, and looking for cheapest return air-ticket to Japan.
Is there any place nearby Finland (or from Germany) I can fly from? Any alternate experiences, suggestions etc? |

Only thing I can think of it try expedia web site, Ive used them a few times and saved some dosh, plus a little swapping and changing routes to get you there can result in some savings.. I have had a return flight to usa for under 200 quid from uk, but got to be prepared to grab when you find a good price... Hope helps |

Because airlines want cream off passengers living outside of their home countries, they offer lower fares than they do to their compatriots (called sixth freedom right). So Helsinki-Tokyo on Finnair will often be cheaper for UK residents flying UK-HEL-NRT-HEL-UK than straightforward HEL-NRT return. So you may want to try HE via FAR or MUCH, KIM via AMES, SK via CHB or AF via COG. Best to contact a consolidator in your country. As a guide, you can usually find something from £400 (570?) in low season and £500 (715?) in high, tax inclusive. Alec |
