Default Cost of Living - Argentina

Hi,

Could someone give me a general idea on the following. I've researched
everywhere but think that this forum is my best shot at getting a
reasonable idea, and thanks to anyone who can offer anything.

Relative costs for the following between Spain and Argentina, in small
towns. I dont want to compare Madrid and Buenos Aires, and dont care
about them at all. I care about your run of the mill 150 person town
vs. the next. Now the other important thing is what I will be buying,
which is only food (Meat, rice, vegetables, milk) and Rent (I am a
student and pay $350 CDN in rent in Toronto right now, which is nothing,
so trust me, I dont need anything special - just a room and access to a
kitchen).

This has been a question on my mind and unanswered for a while now, so
I am hoping someone here can give me somewhat of a reasonable answer to
end this painful search of mine. Thanks everyone,

Dan

This forum may be helpful in researching the costs you hope to compare, but
I would suggest that you also try the Lonely Planet's "Thorn Tree," South
America branch, where at least a couple of Argentines post responses to
questions.

The URL is:

http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com/

Good luck!
