Residents of Zakynthos are on the alert as young pleasure-seekers invade the historic island
The Rev Gaston ha escrito: On 2005-07-04 16:51:29 +0200, Martin said: Aggeliki Lountzi, 58, who runs the Cafe Papas in the nearby village of Pandokratoras, said there was one aspect her older customers appreciated. "The old men like the girls' mini skirts very much," she said. "It's only a problem when they pass them having sex in the road. Why? Do they bump into trees while keeping an eye on the revellers? I have mixed feelings about people complaining about holidaymakers loutish behaviour. I'm sure it's not pleasant having someone throw up on your front step, but on the other hand if you encourage them to drink as much as possible you can't be too surprised. True, but not everyone in a tourist area works in a tourism related activity. The percentage may be higher or lower but there will always be a bunch of people ready to complain. J. |
