Default What is a "hotel tariff"

I've made a reservation at a hotel in PR, and included in the price is
what is called a "hotel tariff". It is about ten percent of the total
price. Is this the tip, or is the tip left in the room at the end of a
stay over and above this tariff? Does the tariff affect the amount of
one's tip?
