Interesting...

i wasn't, but on my recent cruise on Mariner of the Seas from Port
Canaveral one of the other passengers lost her entire jewel case
between checking her bags at terminal and opening bags in stateroom....

Gee, aren't today's cruise ships kinda big to steal? It's not like you
can drop one in a shopping bag, or drive it off when nobody's looking.
It's not like they frequent bad neighborhoods where they could be
"ship-jacked". Once you steal one, where could you hide it?

What gets me is that people are still putting valuables into their checked
on luggage. Don't they ever learn?

Only someone without a brain would put their valuables i checked
luggage,I carry mine with me all the time, and never lose sight of where
my things are, never leave my handbag with my jewlery in it for 1
second. What good is it to have good things, and then never use them.
