Must see in Lake Tahoe...

Hi:
I'm traveling to Lake Tahoe and wonder if anyone familiar with the
area can suggest the most interesting things to see in the area?

I always think the best way to see Tahoe is simply to drive around the
lake,
allowing enough time to stop at all the well-marked scenic points. A
side trip to Donner State Park is worthwhile as well.

Driving around the lake is great. But, a fabulous way to see things from a
different perspective is to take one of the many boat/yacht rides that take
you on a tour of the lake. I was amazed at how different things looked from
the lake looking back at the land. Our boat had a depth indicator on it and
it was interesting (and a little scary) to see how quickly the lake got very
deep once we pulled away from shore. With a good guide to fill you in as
you ride around the lake, it is a really fun way to spend a few hours.

Emerald Bay (on the California side) is generally considered to be the most
beautiful spot on the lake.

The restaurant is located somewhere right of the road southbound to
Meyers ;-) Maybe someone els know the name...
