It's quite ubiquitous in supermarkets here- and a wide range- organic etc. I'm envious 8-) I wish it were more popular here; then I could probably find more variety. I don't see much except lamb chops. I'm not sure where in the U.S. you live, but if you're on the West Coast, or Northeastern seaboard, find a Trader Joe's market. Most of them have frozen leg of lamb and rack of lamb roasts from Australia, those in the Los Angeles area also have fresh lamb roasts as well as chops. I get to a Trader Joe's about once a year, 350+ miles from home. . . -- Mary Loomer Oliver (aka Erilar) You can't reason with someone whose first line of argument is that reason doesn't count. --Isaac Asimov Erilar's Cave Annex: http://www.chibardun.net/~erilarlo* |

Most of what's on my iPod came from my own music library 8-) Mine too, but as a quick way of accessing a recording (and they've got a vast library) it's hard to beat. Just checked, I've bought almost 18 hours of music from itunes... Well, it's a lot easier than converting old LPs, I must admit. I've bought the odd album, but mostly individual songs. -- Mary Loomer Oliver (aka Erilar) You can't reason with someone whose first line of argument is that reason doesn't count. --Isaac Asimov Erilar's Cave Annex: http://www.chibardun.net/~erilarlo* |

You're introducing a red herring here. its an element of the defewrence art is given. By whom? Not by me. I try and keep this based on my own opinions, and civil, and then posters like Tim throw all this crap around. I'm out of it now. If you like the copies as much as the originals, fine. Well, at least copies allow many people to "see" works which they will never have the opportunity to see in the original. Are you saying that's a BAD thing? No, and I never said such a thing. They must be thinking Europeans are stupid. They are doing it because they can. There have been campaigns to get car prices down in UK. Should we be looking at buying via web from US? I remember Amazon has some restriction on the number of US "issue" either CDs or DVDs you can buy. That may be due to different regional coding used on them Region coding is not an issue for users in the UK, as DVD players reading all zones are common here. However, don't get me started on laptops which have this idiotic region coding built in... I have a software fix for that for laptops and can send you a copy as an e-mail attachment if you wish. You don't have a software fix for my laptop. -- (*) of the royal duchy of city south and deansgate -www.davidhorne.net (email address on website) "If people think God is interesting, the onus is on them to show that there is anything there to talk about. Electronics items, in particular, are almost always sold at a deep discount from the manufaturerer's price. its same here for electronics. Apple is an exception, both here and in the US- as the prices are generally very close to the list price. (I do get an academic discount, which isn't particularly fair in a way.) Does it partly make up for being an Apple lover? ) BTW price fixing is illegal in UK and all over the EU. But its OK for the government of France to basically dictate when you can have an annual SALE ? jay Fri Apr 04, 2008 |
