Default Four Years Ago

As I was watching the Super Bowl, I recalled that it was four years
ago that we braved the cold drizzle to greet the QM2 as she visited
on her maiden call to the City. At the time, I turned to Steve and
declared that the following year, we'd be on her.

Although it was Super Bowl Sunday, SF was agog with talk about the
ship. Yes, there was this sports event, but no one had ever seen
anything like the Queen Mary 2.

....and yes, we DID sail on her the following May. We were happy to
meet Charles, Tom and Tom's son on the crossing.
